Social Responsibility
Green'a Packaging has a strong moral compass and we are passionate about helping good causes and we strive to positively impact the worldwide society.
Some of our charity efforts has included donating to the Sarwar Foundation and building a school in Pakistan, purchasing container homes for earthquake victims in Turkey, sponsoring the Franklin Foundation in Nigeria to supply educational equipment, and sponsoring a local school’s summer fete.
Earthquake Appeal – Turkey
On February 6, 2023, an earthquake hit Turkey and Syria, killing 50,000 people. The quake wrecked infrastructure and property, leaving thousands homeless and without basic necessities. Almost 3,000 buildings fell throughout the region, leaving families homeless and without food, water, shelter, or medication. Their condition was exacerbated by harsh winter weather, which left them exposed to the elements and forced them to endure sub-zero temperatures at night without cover, as well as severe rain and snow.
We supported the campaign by purchasing container homes, giving people who have lost everything a secure, warm, and safe place to sleep, eat, and recover from one of Turkey’s biggest tragedies in recent history.
Sarwar Foundation – Pakistan
The Sarwar Foundation is dedicated to saving lives, transforming the lives of those in need, and creating fulfilling lives throughout Pakistan.
Sarwar guarantees safe drinking water and access to first-rate healthcare, therefore saving lives.
By helping those in need and teaching young people, they transform lives.
Through their teaching of new skills they help women lead fulfilling lives.
Franklin Foundation – Nigeria
The Franklin Foundation is dedicated to creating opportunity for all young people to have better lives. The funds they receive benefit children in need by encouraging and delivering both formal and informal education. They work hard to make the world a better place for children who need care and safety.
